I provide tailored, stress- free euthanasia services for beloved pets in Boston Metro West homes
Dr. Alett only books one appointment per service day.
When you schedule an appointment, your pet’s comfort is all that matters. You can feel at ease knowing that your goodbyes can take as long as you need them to.
You and your pet are my only priority.
With end-of-life care, there are no do-overs or second chances.
The last moments you share with your pet need to go perfectly. I only see one appointment per day so the sole focus is on making that one appointment the best it can be. You don’t need to worry about time constraints or going overtime. It’s all your time.
I am committed to handling everything so that all you need to do is be present with your beloved family member.
Wee Paw Way is for you if:
-
Your pet is a beloved member of your family.
They’ve been with you through thick and thin, staying by your side through all the big events and the little moments in between.
-
You do not want your pet to be euthanized at the vet hospital.
Although you love your vet, your buddy shakes as soon as they get in the car. It doesn’t feel right to make your pet go through additional stress on their final day.
-
Your beloved friend has retreated to their familiar spot.
Your pet is most comfortable in their home environment. Be it in their yard, on their fluffy bed, or by the window feeling the warmth of the sun. The gift of being in in the environment that they’ve known for ages surrounded by family allows them to pass with peace.
-
You need to be at home just as much as your pet does.
You need the freedom and privacy to feel all of your feelings during this goodbye. You’re not sure how you’re going to feel and want to give yourself the space to cry, wail, or be a slobbery mess. Plus, the last thing you want to do is drive home in an empty car.

Additionally, Dr. Alett only schedules one appointment during a single service day. This ensures that each pet parent/family gets as much time as they need.
Therefore, it might not be possible to book a same-day appointment.
However, please inform Dr. Alett of your scheduling needs so that she may make arrangements if possible.

-
Dr. Alett will carefully place your pet in a veterinary aftercare bag and prepare for pick-up and transport to the licensed aftercare facility she partners with. Wee Paw Way works with Final Gift for traditional fire based cremation and with Petrichor for Eco-friendly Aquamation service. In either case your pet is tracked via scan/tag ensuring the remains you receive are YOUR pet’s and only your pet. When Dr. Alett receives your pet’s ashes, she will reach out to arrange hand delivery at an agreed upon time/place. Private cremation is included with every euthanasia service appointment.
-
Traditional cremation is what one generally thinks of when one thinks of cremation. It is a fire based aftercare resulting in ashes. With this process you will receive your pet’s ashes in about 2 weeks. Aquamation is a gentler process of aftercare utilizing mild solution and waterflow resulting in cremains similar to traditional cremation but much for eco friendly as the carbon footprint is lower. With this process you will receive your pet’s ashes in about 3 weeks. Either form of aftercare service is included in Wee Paw’s at home euthanasia service.
